The Diplomat Beach Resort: Perfect for relaxing & dining

Disclaimer: This is a “sponsored” post in partnership with The Diplomat Beach Resort, however, all opinions are my own.

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of staying at the Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood Beach, Florida. Besides enjoying the amazing renovations, beach front access, and relaxing amenities, I was also able to explore the dining and drinking opportunities at the resort. I can attest that there are culinary offerings for every palate at the Diplomat Beach Resort.

Boldly led by celebrity chefs alongside local Hollywood chefs and spirited by world-class mixologists, a wide range of remarkable culinary offerings make The Diplomat a true foodie’s paradise. There are so many options during your stay, you can choose from The Diplomat’s signature steakhouse Diplomat Prime or enjoy Coastal American cuisine at Point Royal from celebrity chef, restauranteur, and television star Geoffrey Zakarian. The Hotel Bar transports you to famous hotels around the world with its menu inspired by iconic cocktails. Grab-and-go from casual market The Canteen, or head across the way to Diplomat Landing and take in beautiful views of the Intracoastal Waterway at Bristol’s Burgers or Portico Beer & Wine Garden.

We also got an exclusive tour of the exciting new options that will arrive in Spring 2017 including modern Japanese izakaya Monkitail from celebrity chef and restaurateur Michael Schulson, the festive Nuevo Latino Playa from chefs Sue Torres and Darren Carbone, and family-friendly sweets shop Candy & Cones.

From personal experience, I can confirm the most difficult decision will be to decide which of the amazing restaurants you want to enjoy first, but we have gathered their most recent specials so you can make an informed decision:

Bristol’s Burgers:
$5 Happy Hour Menu available daily 5pm-7pm ($5 draft beers, glass wines and select food items)

Portico Hollywood:
$5 Happy Hour Menu available daily 5pm-7pm ($5 draft beers, glass wines and half pizzas)
Sunset Sessions (live music concert series) 7pm-10pm every Friday and Saturday
Share a photo on Instagram of your pizza tagging @diplomateats to receive a complimentary cocktail with your meal. Limit one free drink per customer per visit. Plus, 4 hours of complimentary validated parking if available for guests!

Diplomat Prime:
$100 bottles of Moet Champagne at Diplomat Prime if you reserve dinner for 2/11-2/14 to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Also, complimentary valet parking is available to all guests of Diplomat Prime. To make a reservation: www.diplomatprime.com

While all of those deals sound fantastic, I can especially recommend the Diplomat Prime which was an experience like no other! This luxury boutique steakhouse, led by Executive Chef Nicolay Adinaguev, restaurant boasts a reimagined menu of prime beef aged in-house, seasonally-driven seafood dishes, and select delicate fare. The beverage program includes a variety of old world and new world wines available by the glass and bottle, as well as an extensive list of classic cocktails designed to complement the steakhouse fare.

Inspired by the hotel’s iconic period through the 1950s, the design of the 108-seat restaurant incorporates elements of sophistication and playful femininity to a steakhouse space that historically had masculine overtones. It goes without saying that my overall experience at the Diplomat Beach Resort was fantastic! I would highly recommend it for a weekend get-away, as well as a longer-term escape. This Resort really has everything you need to keep you happy, relaxed, and content!

Our room, which was a 2-room suite, with a full sitting area/bar, and bedroom was spectacular. I especially loved the balcony, large enough for lounging with the entire family/or group of friends. While there was so much to do in the Resort, I’m not ashamed to admit that the room was just as much as a luxurious escape as the rest of the amenities!
