Premios Billboard 2015 Nominations List

It’s spring time in Miami (our winter lasted about 3 days), so that means that its time for the 2015 Billboard Latin Music Awards to come into town! As we prepare for the premios to arrive, the list of nominees was released with Romeo Santos and Enrique Iglesias leading the pack with the most noms this year.

Santos, who brings in the big numbers at awards shows, leads with 21 entries in 16 categories, a record in the history of the awards. Iglesias follows closely with 19 entries in 15 categories. Both acts broke the previous record of most finalist nods for a single year, held by Tito El Bambino and Don Omar, who both garnered 18 nods in 2010 and 2013, respectively.

We are also excited to see colombiano J Balvin being recognized as a 12-time finalist in 11 categories, largely on the strength of his hit “6 a.m.” Hopefully he plans to perform that canción at the premios…love it!

While we don’t have the performer’s list just yet, we do have the complete list of nominees for the 2015 Premios Billboard below so you can see which if your favorite artists made the cut! It seems like the noche is going to be a giant Santos/Iglesias celebration, but we will have to wait and see!
