Friends of Nature Festival 2013 Miami: Cafe Tacvba and More
A brand new festival is coming to town…something totally unique and so Miami at the same time. The 1st Friends of Nature Festival will take place Nov. 9-10th on Virginia Key on Key Biscayne and is the first ever eco-friendly, interactice music festival to ever come to the 305. For two days, festival-goers can enjoy buena música, food, entertainment and tons of exhibitors.
Every year, the festival will be donating a % of the sold tickets to an environmental organization and this year, they have chosen the Oceanic Preservation Society (OPS) as their first beneficiary. For each ticket sold, 20% of the net profit will go to OPS to aid their efforts in the protection and liberation of marine wildlife throughout the globe. Love this!
As far as performers, we are most excited about seeing los mexicanos de Cafe Tacvba who are headlining the festival on Sunday. Other names you might recognize are: Matisyahu and We Are Scientists. Check out the complete lineup below…and we will be posting the schedule as soon as it is available.
Tickets range from $45 to $170 depending on how many days you want to attend and if you prefer General Admission or the VIP experience. Visit their website for más information!
