Coconut Grove Seafood Festival
What do I love more than living en Miami…well, that’s easy: living in Coconut Grove! There are so many awesome restaurantes to enjoy and eventos to attend. This time of year, as the weather starts to cool off (well…for Miami standards), we get to enjoy outdoor festivals and celebrations in the parques! But there is a new fest debuting this month…and I’m so very excited! The newbie is the Coconut Grove Seafood Festival at Peacock Park and its all about celebrating seafood, waterfront living and giving people their fill of the freshest, tastiest delicacies of the mar!
On Sunday, October 20th you can enjoy a variety seafood…everything from: Caribbean with its Bahamian cracked conch and Jamaican Jerk grilled fish, Latin American offering paella and Peruvian ceviche, Cajun with its gumbo, jambalaya and crawfish étouffée, North Eastern offering traditional chowders, lobster rolls and clam boils, Asian with the always satisfying sushi and sashimi and, last but not least, Florida seafood with its world-famous stone crab, lobster and fresh fish.
We really hope you can join us! Admission is $15 per person online at CoconutGroveSeafoodFestival.com. Children 12 years and under enter for free. Plus, tickets will also be available at the door for $25.
