Prince Royce Performs at the “Latino Inaugural 2013” at the Kennedy Center
Prince Royce, one Latin music’s biggest breakthrough and Las Gringas fave bachatero, joined music industry veterans Marc Anthony, Jose Feliciano, Rita Moreno, Chita Rivera as well as host Eva Longoria and presenters Mario Lopez and Wilmer Valderrama, in a star-studded event “Latino Inaugural 2013: In Performance at the Kennedy Center” as a salute to President Obama, earlier this week.
Royce performed his bilingual bachata rendition of “Stand By Me”. The song, which marked the artist’s first hit, was also a perfect fit with the theme of the night which underscored Latinos’ support for our nation’s president.
“My parents were immigrants. I’m Dominican American. It is a dream come true to be here. We are here to represent Latinos and to represent Americans — no matter where you are from, no matter what language you speak or what race you are, we need to come together for our country,” -Prince Royce
What an honor! Way to go Royce….keep it up, amigo!
