Mario Lopez to Host The X Factor with Khloe Kardashian
Is it just me or does this seem to be the week of Latinos joingin reality singing competition news? First Marc Anthony…then Shakira and now Mario! For the last couple of days, the internet has been a-buzz of the rumors that Mario Lopez and Khloe Kardashian are in the final stages of negotiation to host the current season of “The X Factor.”
The “Extra” TV host would be a fabulous host of the singing competition….this man has dimples for miles and incredibly charming! If I were a contestant, I would be in such a haze of Mario-goodness, that I probably wouldn’t even notice getting rejected by the judges! Plus, combine that with the vivaciousness that is Khloe K…and I might just tune in!
In case you haven’t been watching, “The X Factor” debuted its second season on Sept.12 with singers Demi Lovato and Britney Spears being the talk of the show. The live episodes start airing in November…which is where the new hosting-duo will come in. All of these changes are in an effort to revamp the damaged ratings from last season. Simon Coweell is breaking out all the stops to help X Factor compete with the growing popularity of The Voice…plus the always American Idol beginning again in January.
