Lilo “Estupida No Soy” Video

Here at Las Gringas Blog, we love hearing about new artistas….so we were very happy to check out Lilo and watch her new video for “Estupida No Soy” which is the first single off her album, Te Quiero Confesar.  LiLo (aka Linda Lopez) was born in México, but grew up in Los Angeles, CA. Being a fan of Mexican pop, I can definitely recognize that influence in her música….but this power ballad goes way beyond just that!

The video, directed by Sergio Hernandez, is visually powerful and adds to the drama of the lyrics (really…how could you not have a dramatic video with that song title?). On a side note, love love love the hair and make-up (by Tony Ynot) which was the first thing I noticed when I viewed the video.

Give me a couple of weeks, you will probably hear me belting out this ballad while driving around the 305! I look forward to hearing even more from Lilo and encourage you all to connect with her on Facebook and Twitter to stay in the know.
