Premios Juventud 2012 Recap: Red carpet, Backstage and Beyond!
So many things happened last week at Premios Juventud 2012 in Miami, FL but Las Gringas are here to do our best at recapping all the fun for you in one place! From the red carpet, backstage, big winners, to the after party- La Rubia y I were there and we have pics and videos to share!
Are you listo for this? From start to finish…here is our recap of the 2012 Premios Juventud:
Well…ok, it was actually a blue carpet aka La Alfombra Azul. Never the ones to be left out of the fun, Las Gringas managed to get ourselves right in the midst of all the action on the red carpet…with our Gringa iPad rolling! To capture photos of our favorite stars, I took along the Galaxy SIII (provide by T-Mobile for the event) so that I could rapidly share all the photos right away via Twitter and Facebook (pretty cool feature!).
We filmed tons of interviews on the red carpet, featuring artists like Jesse Y Joy, Christian Chávez and Beto Cuevas…but our favorite was definitely Sensato who treated Las Gringas too a little “Crazy People” rhyming! For our complete list of entrevistas, head on over to our YouTube Channel.
We had to pass on seeing the show from the audience POV…which was a bummer. PERO Las Gringas gave up our seats for a good reason: to hang out backstage and greet the artistas as they made their way on and off the stage. This gave us a chance to get to know the famosos a little better, congratulate them on their nominations/wins, and hear about their upcoming projects.
After about 6 hours on our feet during the red carpet and Premios, Las Gringas paused for an outfit change and made our way to the afterparty with Univision! Can I get a daleeeee? The party was a blast…we danced out tacones off to salsa, merengue, reggaeton (ya tu sabes…) and even had a chance to chat with Wilmer Valderrama about the work he is doing at Voto Latino.
Ay dios….we are tired just recapping all of this! For our complete gallery of photos of the famosos we met during Premios Juventud, go to our Facebook page and for all the awesome video coverage, subscribe to Las Gringas on YouTube!
